World of Warcraft Rogue Leveling Guide

Popular but mostly hated, Rogues are powerful and complicated class that knows no equal in one-on-one combat. Rogues can be armed with swords, daggers, poisons and other abilities to carry on the assassinations; and these make rogues conquer the gaming world like never before. Yet, nobody's perfect even in the virtual domain, even Rouges that specialize in mayhem and slaughter need leveling. Thus, any serious gamer would need a handy World of Warcraft rogue leveling guide.
Rogues Leveling Up
Play your Rogues right and this is what any Warcraft rogue guide will advise you. As a general guide, your Rogues should prioritize:
* Questing
* Use of swords over daggers
* Grinding over caster mobs

Points to Consider
Element of surprise is one of Rouges' most powerful skills. Yet, playing it in PvP make Rogues loose this ability and will surprise no mob or attackers. Also, reserve agility and attack power gear since tactics take more precedence over strength.
In PvP, assassination is the best choice of raiding and leveling. Until level 50, sinister strike remains your bread and butter attack but backstab should not be use quite often. If you want to feel more Rogue-like, kill with Subtlety. While you won't be fighting as fast as the other trees and not match their speed, you can customize your freedom on how to attack. In Subtlety, every skill improves your capacity to control and escape the fight. Likewise, once you're into the depths of the tree, you will notice combo points building up and you can have the option to rip them easily. Obey these guides for a more effective Subtlety leveling and consider these points:
1.) Replace sinister strike with Hemorrhage in your 30s.
2.) Use Shadow dance carefully for it requires careful button set up. But taking advantage of its brutality can be sweep in eliminating any combatants.
3.) Shadow step places you behind the opponent for a quick Ambush. This can be fun but take note also that this is not escape ability. Sometimes, it can teleport you up onto a ledge where your opponent is hiding.
